Lenovo Yoga 3 Pro 80HE00GKUS Convertible 13.3″ Touchscreen Laptop Specs Review

Lately, Lenovo started to release some very interesting 2-in-1 laptops, with a slim design and top notch specs. One of their latest models, the Lenovo Yoga 3 Pro 80HE00GKUS, is no exception, proving that even smaller laptops can pack an impressive processing power.

The specs sheet includes a Intel Core M-5Y71 processor, running at 1.2  GHZ, with the posibility of increasing this up to 2.9 GHz, using the Turbo Boost technology. Aided by 8 GB of DDR3L memory and the Intel HD Graphics 5300, with shared video memory, it will definitely be able to run even some of the latest games. When it comes to storage capacity, it has just 512 GB of space, but we’re dealing with a solid state drive here, so this justifies the price of the laptop, about which you will find out immediately.

Being a slim model, the Lenovo Yoga 3 Pro 80HE00GKUS doesn’t come with an optical drive, but it does have a multiformat media reader, supporting SD and MMC formats and three USB ports. It also comes with high-speed wireless LAN and a Bluetooth 4.0 interface.

Let’s not forget about the 4-cell lithium-polymer battery, which guarantees up to 6 hours of functionality. Also, above the display, it has a built-in 720p camera, perfect for chatting with your friends or family.

The display of the Lenovo Yoga 3 Pro 80HE00GKUS is the main attraction point of this device. The 13.3″ high definition widescreen panel features the IPS technology, meaning that you can enjoy crystal clear images no matter the angle you’re watching from. Also, it has a resolution of 3200 x 1800 pixels, resulting a huge pixel density, considering its size. Last but not least, we should mention that it’s a 10-point multitouch display, so you can also use this laptop as a tablet.

Featuring a 6-hinge watch band design, it allows you to flip the display and use it in laptop, stand, tent or tablet mode. And versatility is not the only plus, as, like mentioned above, you’re looking at one of the thinnest laptops on the market. Measuring just 0.5″ in thickness and weighing 2.7 lbs, you can carry it in a backpack or briefcase with ease, as its size is comparable to the one of a notebook.

We know, it’s not cheap, but if you’re looking for an ultra-portable laptop, which you can use as a tablet too, with a stunning design and top performances, this might be it.
